As sad as I am to see summer go, I am beyond excited for Fall! There is something about this time of year that makes me giddy with joy. Maybe it’s the fact that I can finally wear my oversized cozy sweaters and boots and the fact that the holiday season is quickly approaching. Or maybe it’s the fact that PUMPKIN SPICE is my favorite flavor and it’s finally acceptable to indulge in pumpkin spice everything!
Yes, I am truly that obsessed with pumpkin spice that I scour the shelves of my favorite grocery stores; Whole Foods, Aldi and Trader Joes, to find the best gluten free and dairy free (mostly vegan too) pumpkin spiced goodies!

My first stop was Trader Joes. Every year they release a ton of delicious pumpkin spiced goodies, many of them being gluten free, dairy free and/or vegan. My absolute favorite item is their pumpkin spice almond beverage which tastes delicious by itself, mixed into coffee or used to make my delicious gluten free and vegan pumpkin spiced pancakes (recipe below ⬇️).

My Trader Joes haul included:
- Pumpkin Spice Almond Beverage
- Pumpkin Butter
- Pumpkin Spice Rooibos Tea
- Fall Harvest Salsa
The pumpkin butter is AMAZING on a slice of gluten free toast! The herbal tea is literally fall in a cup and the salsa is a delicious mix of fall flavors and is definitely a different taste from typical salsa but still very delicious.
Not only were these items super delicious and got me all excited for pumpkin spice season, they were also very affordable, in typical Trader Joes fashion. The item I was most excited about was the rooibos tea, as I have never seen a pumpkin spice herbal tea before!
Next stop was Aldi. Aldi also has a decent selection of seasonal pumpkin spice items, however, many of them contain gluten and/or dairy. Honestly, I was very underwhelmed with my pumpkin spice shopping spree at Aldi, I was only able to find 2 safe things:
- Pumpkin Vinaigrette
- Pumpkin Harvest Salsa
The vinaigrette is SO good and I have gone back to buy 4 more bottles to stock up! The salsa is ok, I am not the biggest fan of the flavor, it tastes more smoky than pumpkin-y to me which is good, but I wouldn’t give it the pumpkin spice stamp of approval.
The final stop was Whole Foods. Of course, Whole Foods is notorious for all of their seasonal goodies so I was super excited to stock up! I got all of the gluten free and dairy free pumpkin spice items that my Whole Foods had in stock, so if you see I did not include something in this list, it is because it was out of stock. The items I got are:
- Califia Farms Pumpkin Spice Latte Cold Brew
- Califia Farms Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer
- Pumpkin Spiced Apple Cider
- Pumpkin Spice Flavor RX Bars
- Pumpin Spice Applesauce
I am in pumpkin heaven with all of these delicious goodies! Everything I got from Whole Foods is super delicious and I highly recommend all of these products.

Glad you found this helpful! Thanks for reading 🙂
Thank you! You have made shopping gfr items with pumpkin a breeze.
Me too! Too bad you don’t have TJ’s or WF there, I don’t know what I would do without them. Hopefully you found some goodies at Aldi!
I love everything pumpkin around this time of the year! I wish we had Whole Foods and Trader Joes in Belgium. I might have to go see in Aldi if I can find these items!
The Trader Joes Pumpkin Spice drink is my favorite too 🙂
