Don't be surprised if you eat the entire container of this delicious gluten free and vegan apple crisp!
Preheat the oven to 425°. Coat 7 x 11 Pyrex container with the butter, be sure to cover all of the sides and the bottom with a light coat.
Peel and slice apples and lay a single layer of apples down. Sprinkle 1/2 TBSP of Cinnamon AND Sugar and repeat until you have multiple layers. Once all of the apples are layered, pour the 1/4 cup of water over them.
In a separate mixing bowl, add the remaining sugar, cinnamon, salt and butter to the flour. Mix with clean hands until a crumbly consistency is reached.
Sprinkle the crumble on top and bake for 50 minutes. Let cool for at least 30 minutes. Best served warm with your favorite dairy free/vegan cool whip or vanilla ice cream!
