5x5 Salsa - 5 Ingredients, 5 Minutes

  • 12 Roma Tomatoes peeled - you can also use a 28 oz can of whole peeled tomatoes, drained
  • 1/2 White Onion
  • 2 Jalapeños
  • 1 handful Cilantro
  • 2 tsp salt if you would like more salt then feel free to add one more tsp


  1. Peel tomatoes and set aside (skip this step if you are using a 28oz can of whole peeled tomatoes)

  2. Slice onion in half

  3. De-stem and remove the seeds from the jalapeños (if you want hot salsa, do not remove the seeds)

  4. In a food processor or blender combine tomatoes, onion, jalapeños, a handful of cilantro and salt by pulsing 8-10 times. You want to make sure you pulse otherwise your salsa may become more soupy.

  5. Enjoy with some chips or topped on just about anything!
